This fresh and light beer, moderately alcoholised is perfect as an aperitif or as an after-dinner liqueur. It can also go well with a good meal. The freshness at the beginning, will be followed by a pleasant and bitter character in conclusion. It keeps a light white foam coat throughout the savouring. Beer secondary fermentation in the bottle.
Origin: Brewing tradition of the Cistercian Abbey Notre-Dame du Val-Dieu dating back to 1216
Type: Unfiltered and unpasteurized high fermentation abbey beer.
Aroma: Beautiful scented aroma, slightly spicy.
Volume of alcohol: 6%
Color: Yellow shy and slightly veiled.
Taste: Appetizer first sweet, then slight bitterness while it is composed of two varieties of traditional hops. Little after taste on a very slightly bitter background. Extremely digestible and thirst quenching.
Foam: White but not too thick.
Glass: Large and round chalice glass.
